The Right Pop

Happy Monday Everyone! Hoping all of you had a great weekend. I wanted to share a quick and fabulous outfit that you can pull off any day of the week.

First off I could totally live in Palazzo pants! Not only are they so comfortable they also fall into the slimming effect with vertical lines. Next on to my fabulous and soft Chambray. I'm completely obsessed and this needs to be one of everyone's spring/summer staple. It is easily one of the most versatile pieces in my closet. Endless possibilities!

Fast Tip: when styling this amazing top, tuck only half in. It's chic without being too "done".  Bonus, it takes two seconds.

On to the shoes!! These fantastic JustFab shoes that I'm loving are the perfect addition to this outfit. I always feel that when your outfit needs a little something then a bright shoe will do it. They are comfortable and fun. Perfect for the warmer weather.

Finishing the look off with pearls is a must because they truly are the perfect touch. #pearlsforever

Chic and Slim

Okay so maybe the past weekend we indulged a little and aren't feeling super skinny come Wednesday. No worries. I'm here to help with the slimming effect. Here are three quick and different ways to look and feel a tad thinner.

Adding a belt to the smallest part of your waist will always make you look thinner and not to mention put together.

Wear the same color from head to toe. A monochromatic look will elongate you, plus it's a super chic look right now. Also when you have a flair on your pants it adds balance with your hips and makes you look leaner and longer.

Lastly, vertical stripes will always bring the eye down. If you're feeling bold try this look from top to bottom.

We've made it half way through the week! Let's power on!

Faux It

Okay Ladies! it's that time of the year. Time to be tan. I've had numerous people ask me lately about my tan and decided that even though I have blogged about it before I am going to share my favorite product and my to go tips that go along with it. Now, to each is own but for myself being blonde, I feel better tan.

Obviously I don't want to actually tan so I found the next best thing. Fake Bake is my absolute favorite product when it comes to a faux tan. Self tanning has come a long way that's for sure. I've used this product for going on ten years. It's easy to use and fast! You see results right away which is exactly what I need.

Here is my tan 101:

1. Exfoliate really well.

2. Apply lotion to any dry area (elbows, knuckles, etc.)

3. Apply your choice of self tan with gloves

4. Moisturize twice a day to keep you tan longer

5. Reapply where you see fit.

Now let's say a disaster has happened and you hate your tan. Fear not. Just make a mixture of Baking Soda, lemon juice, and sugar. It will come right off. What this does is even out the Ph level of your skin. Same goes for if you happen to get it on your hands. Just mix some baking soda with liquid soap and it should go away.
