Glossy Review Number Two

So I may have not done a whole lot this week due to having my gallbladder taken out Tuesday. But I was going to get this beauty review done if it killed me! As I said before this is my favorite box yet!

I'll start with the best first, this scent by Aerin called Waterlilly Sun is amazing and will now always be in whatever handbag I'm carring. It's perfect for spring, perfect floral notes.  A little "Fast Tip" is to spray a little into your hairbrush midday when you freshen up.

Next up, Lip Tar Stained Gloss by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. I love a fresh new lip color and the cool thing about a lip stain is that you can use basically any liner in the same family under it and apply it with a brush. Another cool part is that this product is vegan and gluten-free. This color is so bright and fun!

I use black so often that sometimes I forget how much fun a different color eye pencil can be. In this box, I got an olive color. Normally on green eyes; the best color to put on them is purple and even though I do this on occasion I have always loved green colors on my green eyes. It blends more than pops but I love the look. This gel pencil is by Julep and dries in 30 seconds.

Marrakesh Endz: Split End Mender & Preventer smells great and for sure makes a big difference on split ends. However mending them is a little far of a stretch. Sadly no product does that. I would still absolutely buy this product.

Last but not least Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum, I don't really have a problem with dark spots but I feel like it did to a little somethin' somethin' and I might consider using a night serum in the future.

BONUS! Look at this adorable little lips makeup bag! Its so cute and I will certainly be using this! I also just loved the 60's feel of the pop art.  Last but not least there was even a "mystery gift card" for www.ThuFri.com. I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet but if I do I'll keep you posted!

Good Vibes, Good Times

Happy Friday!

Even though it's been a cold week, it's about that time again to relax on the patio, have some drinks, and head to the fire pit! I for one, couldn't be happier about the upcoming (hopefully!) warmer weather. I must say I'm a big fan of a spiked lemonade. This is the perfect recipe for a party or just you and your girlfriend catching up and chatting about the week. And seriously, how fabulous is this über positive cup?! You couldn't have a bad night with this glass in hand! New favorite! Along with this recipe...

  • 2 1/2 cups vodka
  • 2 1/2 lemon juice (fresh is best not a must)
  • 1/2 superfine sugar (leave a little if you want to sugar your rim)
  • Ice, of course.
  • Lemon slices

Test this out before serving to see if you want more sugar. I like mine tart so you'll want to check. Also, to be super low cal I used Stevia for the sugar.

Have a wonderful weekend all! I hope it's filled with ..good vibes. See what I did there?

Leopard Love

So many of my favorite things all in one photo! Ok, obviously leopard is the trend here. Also green! This is my very favorite midi skirt, and these pearls. I know that I've shown them before but lately I think I've had them on almost every day. But, back to the  leopard. You've seen these BCBG Paris shoes but I've been on the hunt for what feels like forever to find the perfect leopard bootie. The search has ended my friends. These are Kristen Cavallari from Nordstrom and are my new favorite shoe! The "peep toe" is small enough to wear into Fall. I wear both of these with sooo many things.
