Fast Fashionista Turns 2!

It's a little crazy to me to think that I have (officially) had Fast Fashionista for two years. Even though I'm always busy and it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming; I am so happy to call this my little labor of love. This past year has been...interesting to say the least.

I kept thinking "what do I do?, what do I do?!" for my "Blogaversary". I hate to fall in line with the stereotypical so this week I am reflecting on my favorite posts, outfits and foods of course. I looked back in the last year to see what my two most favorite posts were. Here they are:

First was "April Favorites", I have no idea why I stopped doing this because it was so much fun! I might just be bringing this one back...

Next was my favorite outfit I've ever posted. All the elements just came together perfectly for this look. This girl loves patterns...and apparently walking on the road while drinking wine.

Stay tuned, tomorrow I'll be talking about my two favorite getaways.

I want to thank everyone for your support and love. This has been fun, thanks for stopping by.

Note: None of me being able to do this blog would be possible without my editor, photographer, sounding board, toughest critic, life coach, biggest supporter, my rock, Husband, and best friend, Michael Kilgore. Thank you!

Be Bright!

Happy February!! That's one month closer to Spring, right?

I love Monday's. It's like a clean slate and fresh start. Let's kick this week off with some color! Which one should you be rocking right now? Yellow!!! It's absolutely having a moment and get ready to start seeing it everywhere. I think it's a welcome pop of color in the dreary winter.  Also, the perfect color to translate into Spring. This is the perfect start to your Spring shopping by going out and getting a something bright and yellow.

My favorite thing about this coat is that it is an "indoor coat" as it has no lining. Won't be wearing only this when it's freezing out. But I love that I can make it an all day outfit.

Not sure how to pair yellow? No worries. You can either wear it with blue like I did because they are on opposite sides of the color wheel. Or you can always rock it with grey and let the yellow do the talking.

This week is all about two's see why tomorrow. So tip number two is when you are buying denim, buy it more snug than you like because after about four wears they stretch out and molds to you.

I hope the day brings you lots of awesome, and if all else fails there's a glass of wine at the end of it, right?

Bruching

I don't know what the question is but the answer is Brunch. My most favorite meal. There are few things better than Sunday Brunch. After running and running (figuratively and literally) all week it is so nice to just relax and reconnect with friends and family over some white wine and delicious brunch food. Which is exactly why I wanted to share this super easy recipe with you....

Along with a couple other things, I made this crescent surrounded casserole type of dish. I don't know it's name because I kind of came up with the idea on my own (even though I'm sure there are similar recipes out there). Make this for your next Brunch, you won't regret it.

Use a springform pan and use one crescent roll for the bottom. Just press it down, use the second crescent to build up a dough wall. Add as many eggs as you'd like. I used about 6 in the first layer. Then, add whatever meats and cheeses you want. I used ham and salami and then topped that with provolone.

After that, add more egg. I topped this with a handful of some delicious spinach.

I didn't expect the dough to actually curl around this scrumptious dish but it did and was amazing. Give it about an hour or so to cook on 400 degrees.

I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!! xoxo
