Easter Garb

Happy Easter from The Kilgore's! Don't let my smile fool you, I had a pretty terrible Easter weekend due to a horrible bout with food poisoning Friday night. But, the show must go on. I was so excited for my Easter outfit for so many reasons. I chose an orange skirt with purple notes in the shirt because they are complimentary colors. Also, I love to play with mixing different patterns so the leopard really added pop. And of course it wouldn't be a holiday (or random Tuesday) with out pearls!

What can I say MK and I love hats! But man; isn't he handsome? His linen suit was perfect for such a beautiful Easter day.

My skirt and top are from H&M, hat Target, shoes are BCBG Paris, handbag from Rome, pearls and fabulous Vahan bracelet is from Joyce's Fine Jewelry of course. Now, let's talk about Mk's ensemble. Suit is from Banana Republic, shirt and hat Target, his watch is Shinola also from Joyce's Fine Jewelry.

How We Did It

Today, Photo Friday returns this week with a "How We Did It" addition. Also mixing in a little Flashback Friday. This photo is from our 365 Project that we did years ago. We love to do creative photos, that is a love both MK and I share. This was a very popular photo and we were always asked how we did these kind of shoots.  Below are the two images that we put together. I took the first and he took the second. Also it helps that MK is beyond amazing with Photoshop. He is a genius. He gives me wings! In photos and everyday.

Hope you enjoy! Happy Easter Weekend!

And of course, keep your eye out for our Easter attire on Monday!

The Glossy Box Experience

On the first of every month I am going to do a product review. Recently I signed up for "Glossy Box" and already love it. Never heard of it? No worries. Basically, once you sign up it's $20 a month and samples show up at your door. Like a present to yourself! Go here to find out more http://www.glossybox.com/

I always get questions about my hair so I thought how perfect to do a hair product review! In my first box I got five products, one of which is the "Rich" shampoo! I will tell you having worked in salons and using lots of different ones, I have never been so blown away by a shampoo! I will absolutely be making this my go to. It's consistency is so thick which usually that means that it doesn't lather much, not true with "Rich" shampoo, it worked great and when I ran a comb through my wet hair it felt more conditioned than I could believe! I can't wait to buy the conditioner. https://us.richhaircare.com/

Next up, (not from the box) is one of my favorite products is "It's a 10". I use this when I am drying my hair. I dry it until it is damp and then I put a little bit of this on and then dry the rest. I have used many of their different products and love them all. They also have a great Hair Mask and Conditioning Spray. http://itsa10haircare.com/

You always need a finishing touch right? Well this is mine. Rusk Thermal Spray is perfect to protect you hair when styling it. I spray it right before curling or flat ironing and it adds so much shine. http://www.amazon.com/Rusk-Thermal-Shine-Spray-Argan/dp/B00570AHI8
