Anything But The Blues

Happy Friday Everyone!!

We made it to the weekend! This is the second weekend that I'm not shooting a wedding so I get two days off!

Today I'm talking beauty and booze since it is after all my Martini Moment. I keep noticing that blue eye colors are back. This would be an easy trend to mess up that's for sure. So how do you know what your shade of blue is? It's all about the eye color! I've made a quick how to blue guide:

Brown Eyes: You lucky ladies can wear any blue you want because any shade compliments brown.

Blue Eyes: Stay dark like a midnight blue

Green Eyes: Stick with turquoise

Hazel: Bright blue!

Fast Tip: You don't have to get crazy, if you want to try this trend out just wet a thin makeup brush and line your top lid with your chosen blue. Plus, it's Halloween weekend so there no better weekend than to play with some fun eye makeup!

In the spirit of it being Halloween on Monday I'm sharing a very fun and very delicious martini.

Have a super fun weekend!

Done Up

No better way to spend an evening than in a pumpkin patch with my best friend! We had such a fun evening getting lost in corn mazes and enjoying the cool fall day. Checking this one off the Fall Bucket List!

My hair is long and sometimes I don't feel like dealing with it. Recently, I fashioned a very large bun and someone messaged me on Snapchat (fastfashionista) and asked me how I did it. So here is a quick how to. It's so fast especially if you are low on time. I used a sock bun but not in the normal way when you roll your ponytail around it. You simply make a pony (this part is optional but makes for a more sturdy do) and place the sock at the all the way at the bottom and wrap your pony around the sock and secure with bobbi pins. That's it. Perfect for a quick chic updo.

Fast Tip: If your hair is straight it won't work as well so make sure to tease it.

Happy Wine Wednesday! Cheers!

Fall Fragrances

It's finally Friday! Yay! For today's Martini Moment I'm talking my favorite fragrances for fall and some Fast Tips to go along with them. Also, how awesome is it to have fresh Rosemary from my sunroom for a fancy garnish to my V8 martini?

My signature scent is 100% Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. But every season I like to switch it up a bit. I am simply obsessed with Decadence by Marc Jacobs and came across Zara Black while on a recent shopping trip. One reason that I like scents for seasons is because when I smell it again I'm reminded of that time when I started wearing it. My Chanel brings back wonderful wedding memories and Amber Romance from Victoria Secret will always remind me of being a cheerleader and it being football season. Funny how that works isn't it?

Let's talk Fast Tips:

1. Don't store your fragrances in the bathroom. Humidity, heat, and light will break down the scent.

2. Spritz your perfume right after you get out of the shower but before you get dressed to lock in your favorite smell.

3. Spray a cotton ball and put it in a Ziploc bag for your handbag. You'll be able to touch up mid-day.

Have an amazing weekend!
