A Pumpkin Spiked Latte

Happy Friday Friends!

There is a very real chill in the air in my neck of the very literal woods (haha) so I thought it would be the perfect time to make a delicious latte but make it boozy.

Now Lets make a Pumpkin syrup!

Make this the same way that you would a normal syrup with equal parts water and sugar (I always use Stevia). Add in pumpkin purée and spice. Let it come to a boil, make sure it is well mixed, and remove from heat. Then set aside.

what you do:

Add Pumpkin Syrup and Crown Royal Salted Carmel to your mug (you can substitute regular Crown or your favorite bourbon if you don’t have the salted carmel). Then add in espresso (use instant if you don’t have an espresso maker), top with your milk. If you want to get really fancy add some whipped cream on top!

I hope the weekend has some fun in store with maybe a drink or two!

A Tasty Trio

Happy First Day of September!!

I’m bringing you all the carbs this fine Wednesday.

This might be one of my favorite food posts ever because let me let you in on a little secret…I freaking love sandwiches. Like in my soul. However, I don’t eat them often because carbs so doing this post was a very real treat for me. I chose three easy classic sandwiches and I’m showing you what drink to pair them with.

Give these tasty pairings a try next time you’re craving some carbs!

For the grilled cheese I used Fontina cheese since it pairs well with Chardonnay. My favorite combo? As much as I love all of these I really liked the PB & J pairing!

I hope your day is full of carbs and fun!

Fall Fashion 2021

Happy last day of August!

Tomorrow I’m whipping out the pumpkins!

Well it’s that time of year again when I share my favorite Fall Fashion trends. Before I get into it, I’m going to say what I always do and that is if you don’t like a trend then don’t bend to it. You always have to stay true to you. That’s very important. Having said that now it’s time to get into some of my favorites for the year.

  1. Capes ..again..and always.

Always, always my favorite look and I think this has been on my Fall Fashion list about five times. But I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I’ll always rock a cape.

2. So cropped

This is a returning trend also and I’m still loving it. Dress it up or down like I did and it can really switch up a look. I have a couple but this sweatshirt material is perfect for running errands.

3. Bright Colors for Fall

Also known as a little color therapy. Especially with the world often feeling a little heavy, rocking a bright color this fall and winter is an instant mood booster! Of course I chose green!

4. Long gloves

Another favorite of mine and also hits my list a lot. Don’t snooze on this very fabulous fall trend. I like rocking it with a cape so I can really show off the glove. In all honestly I’ve always loved a long glove and wear it every chance I get when temperatures drop.

5. Black sheer things

I love this fun sexy look for a date night out. Rock a cute bralette under for the perfect finishing touch. This is a great way to layer too. Add a blazer for even more dimension.

6. The chunky neck

This type of chunky I’m ok with. Big bows and big scarves! Tie one around your neck and add a shiny pin to top it off (zoom in to check out my bee pin that MK got me). Moral of this story is to add some zest to your neck situation this season.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it!

Have a fabulously chic day!

*special thanks to my sweet and often very patient Husband MK for always helping me shoot my looks.
