Headed Into Fall

Happy Fall Everyone!!

It’s finally here!! We can officially celebrate Fall even though many of us have been since September 1st. Not sorry. Anyway, in honor of the first day of Fall, I’m sharing my current staples for this fabulous season. These are staples sure to have your back while at the pumpkin patch, apple picking, or at a festive evening soirée.

  1. A good scarf

It’s not secret this is one of my favorite accessories of all time but it can get so chilly in the Fall and especially in the evening. So when you maybe don’t want to cover your entire outfit throw that scarf around your neck or shoulders and not have to sacrifice style.

2. A Power blazer

Not only is this a layering piece that could potentially keep you warm when need be, it is also a no fail chic statement. This perfect for me blazer was found at Amazon The Drop by SabTheFrenchWay.

3. Dressy Pants

Or should I say, Dressy Pants That Aren’t Just Skinny…

These to-die-for satin pants are another incredible find from Amazon The Drop by SignedBlake (go follow her on Insta, she’s amazing). What’s my point? Amazon The Drop has yet to disappoint. And fashion is definitely leaning towards other types of pant and silhouettes. The tie detail at the bottom of these? Perfection.

Enjoy the first day of Fall!

Maybe making a run for a PSL is in my future…

When Décor & Drinks Collide

I always write about what I’m inspired about at the moment and guys…I can’t help it…but…

Fall is almost officially here and I’m really making everything more..pumpkiny. Today’s drink is no exception. It’s fast, very easy, and just a little different. In recent years the Cinderella pumpkin has become quite coveted. So much so I couldn’t even find any last year. My dining and sitting room are always decorated with white and gold pumpkins for Fall. As I put the finishing touches on my finding room table I was inspiration for today’s Martini Moment.

what you do:

Simply throw everything (minus Pumpkin Spice) in a cocktail shaker with little ice, and shake, shake! Then strain into a martini glass.

*for the rim I dipped in mayple syrup and gold sprinkles

I always jump the gun with fall decorating because it’s just soooo pretty! Have you decorated yet?

I hope there are some fun weekend plans in the works for you..with maybe a delicious drink too!

Is That A Chill In The Air?

I THINK SO!

You guys we had to put the heat on the last two nights! Even though many of us have been celebrating, true Fall is in six days. And why not prepare with one of the most fall things you can do in the kitchen?

…Chili!

I mean what’s better then the smell of chili simmering on a mid September day? This is a fall and winter staple of mine. A true tradition for me to do a chili post. While it’s true this is a Keto friendly recipe mine always is since I usually don’t love the beans in my recipe.

This recipe involves the slow cooker which makes it super easy…for most. I’m not going to lie I have a bit of a problem with the slow cooker because I’m a total control freak.

what you do:

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet.

  2. Throw everything in your slow cooker.

  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours

It’s that simple! There is nothing better than a cool day with a hot bowl of chili! And when it’s this easy, it makes it even better!

Have a Fabulous Day friends!
