Bruching

I don't know what the question is but the answer is Brunch. My most favorite meal. There are few things better than Sunday Brunch. After running and running (figuratively and literally) all week it is so nice to just relax and reconnect with friends and family over some white wine and delicious brunch food. Which is exactly why I wanted to share this super easy recipe with you....

Along with a couple other things, I made this crescent surrounded casserole type of dish. I don't know it's name because I kind of came up with the idea on my own (even though I'm sure there are similar recipes out there). Make this for your next Brunch, you won't regret it.

Use a springform pan and use one crescent roll for the bottom. Just press it down, use the second crescent to build up a dough wall. Add as many eggs as you'd like. I used about 6 in the first layer. Then, add whatever meats and cheeses you want. I used ham and salami and then topped that with provolone.

After that, add more egg. I topped this with a handful of some delicious spinach.

I didn't expect the dough to actually curl around this scrumptious dish but it did and was amazing. Give it about an hour or so to cook on 400 degrees.

I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!! xoxo

Underneath It All

With Valentines day coming up, what would be a better time to talk skivvies? This weekend I am going to be very busy with boudoir photos for this big day and I also have a major lingerie addiction. I have some very coveted pieces from Paris and Rome that if anything ever happened to them I'd just die. In honor of this upcoming holiday and love for lace, here are some awesome tips to keep your fabulous underthings..well..fabulous.

Always:

  • -Hand wash in cold water to prevent any fraying or harshness or use delicate cycle.
  • Air dry
  • Wash at least once a week and every other wear

Never:

  • If you happen to be washing silk never wring dry, instead roll it in a towel and press the water out.
  • Don't wear the same bra two days in a row, it actually needs time to regain it's shape.

Fast Tip: I tell all of my Brides this once they put their wedding dress on and you wouldn't believe the difference it makes. It was the best advice I've ever gotten at a high end lingerie boutique: Lean over and pull the girls in, at first they look a little high and crazy but once they settle it's perfection. Thank me later.

Looking for a Valentines Day treat for yourself?

After all you've still got time to decide what's going under that V-Day dress.

My Signature Staple

It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, you better believe I wear some form of a scarf at least once a week. They bring life to any outfit. I'm always looking to freshen up a look. So I am always trying to find different ways to style my scarf. Someone that I work with will bring their scarf in and have me style it for them. I thought this would be a good time to share my favorite ways to do it.

Here are my three quick go to scarf fixes:

First, and my favorite, is this: Lay your scarf out and take the bottom right corner and the top left. Then, just tie them to make a circle, and wrap as many times as you want. After that you can adjust. Tug a little here and there until it's perfectly undone.

Secondly, and this is when you are literally running 15 minutes behind and absolutely cannot wear all black yet again without something. Throw that baby around your neck and belt it! Done in a flash!

Last but not least is very quick once you do it once or twice. Below is a little step by step.

Wrap so the loop is in the front.

Pull one side through the loop going over top of it.
