What I Pulled

Zoom In On Your Style

Hello, All!

I’m back again this week with five ways to own your style. Here are some looks to give you inspo and maybe taking a second look at the things in your closet.

  1. Have some favorite pieces

I absolutely love this sweater. I wear it all year round. Since it’s super colorful, it goes with everything and adds a little fun to a look.

2. Make Cozy Look Chic

  1. One thing I like to do is dress up a casual outfit. It doesn’t take too much. A cute pair of heels and jewelry really bring this fit up a notch.

3. Keep ‘Em Guessing

  1. When it comes to my style, I really pull an outfit based on my mood. Also, being a true-blue Gemini, I could be in all black or in something super bright and colorful.

4. Play With Color

Have some fun with unexpected color combinations. I didn’t know where I was going with this outfit, but I loved the outcome.

5. Finish your look

  1. For me you probably know by now, but a hat usually finishes my look. Find something in your wardrobe that feels like it’s yours. Search for the feeling that “oh this is my piece” that feels finished. Like I’ve said before, “hat” was my first word. I think I knew I’d end up a hat girl.

Have a wonderful day! I hope it brings something good your way!

Your Style & Making It Truly Yours

Hello there, Friends!

It sure has been a minute since I’ve been able to clear a second to spend some time here. Busy, busy. Having said that, I will get right to the point. I’ve been reflecting on style and what it means to each person. In the next couple weeks, every Monday (or maybe Tuesday), I am going to share a little insight into my own style. Here are three things that I have done maybe without even realizing it to find my most true vibe that makes me feel so comfortable in my skin.

  1. Find your inspiration

Start with any style icons that speak to you. For me my inspiration has a lot of range because I don’t feel like my look really fits in one box. For example, people like Iris Apfel, Blake Lively (oh leave her alone), Olivia Palermo, Coco Chanel, DVF, Mae West, and Jackie Kennedy. I think the fact that they are all so different really speaks to me.

  2. Keep your eyes open

Style and fashion are everywhere you look if you’re paying attention. Watch movies old and new. I know this will sound cliche but every time I watch The Devil Wears Prada or Confessions of a Shopaholic, or even something like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes I find myself with new inspiration in some way.

  3. Don’t give a shit.

I have always felt that to be the best version of you, you must first be honest with yourself. If you like a trend wear it! if you hate it, skip it. But most importantly, you cannot care what anyone else thinks. I mean I never have but being able to truly shine as your true self and truly lean into a look or style that feels authentic is so important. Be you always.

I’ve been working on this idea for this post for the last week. I will never stop being a cheerleader for other women and finding the style and vibe that works for them. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to bringing you more fast tips on articulating a style all your own.

May your Monday be short, your outfit making you feel good, and your coffee strong.

I say dress to please yourself. Listen to your inner muse and take a chance. Wear something that says “Here I am” today!

A Lot Of Range

Hello, Hello!

I think it’s safe to say that this week, on Fast Snaps, Full Looks I was all over the place when it comes to what I wore. Baseball games, gymnastics, errands, lunch dates. It was a jam-packed week!

  1. Unexciting.

Today’s activates required me to be comfortable. That’s all. :)

2. Old Pants are good pants

I absolutely love stripes and floral looks. As the title suggests, I have had these pants for about ten years. They are a great stable in my closet and great for when I want to look nice but also need to be comfortable. This outfit was perfectly comfortable all day including ending the day siting at the baseball field. Necklace layers are my “E”, Empress, and three dragons. Usual culprit rings as well. I’ve only worn these blue heels a few times, but they really pulled this look together.

3. Make it match

Something about skivvies matching the fit. This outfit was very basic but still put together which is of course what I prefer. Green and purple are a good match too. My favorite part of this look was my jade pearls that I got from Hawaii. Keeping with the pearl theme, I wore a big ‘ol pearl cuff and a pearl ring.

4. Rockstar Vibes?

The only place I needed to be today was a baseball game, so I had a little fun with the look. I own so many leopard pants because I love them and they go with everything and anything.

5. Favorite of the week!

Again, I love a bright pair of pants. This look was simple, but I loved it. This statement necklace really made the outfit. I paired some Loubs and headed out for lunch!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the day!
