Just a little info on them, they are 100% soy with no added color. Soy candles are natural as they are made from vegetable oil (soybeans). By using soy wax, it supports farming in the United States. Other waxes such as paraffin wax, is made from petroleum oil which increase C02 levels in the atmosphere. Furthermore, soy candles do not require chemicals to scent them. Soy candles burn 50% longer than other waxes. This is a reason soy candles are sometimes more expensive to buy. Soy burns cleaner and longer. Soy candles are non-tonic which is not true for other types of waxes.

Hints Of The Sea

Since this is indeed a lifestyle blog every now and again I like to add a little of my home decor as I feel like it says a lot about personal style. Since I was very young I loved mermaids. That hasn't faded in my adult life that's for sure. All these mermaids are gifts from my fabulous Aunt that lives in the Keys! I love how different they all are and how they add the perfect touch of Keys style to my everyday. 

Also you're able to see the color scheme of my room. It's been redone so keep an eye out sometime this month for a before and after of my very favorite room.

Life's Indulgences

While in Paris, I wanted to do two things: buy shoes at the Louboutin Flagship Store, and buy La Perla lingerie. Do you know what French Women spend on lingerie? According to fibre2fashion.com they spend 20% of their fashion budget on lingerie. I also agree with the French with investing in great lingerie; because lingerie will make you feel happier and more confident as a women. Also lingerie is meant to be worn everyday, not just for those special occasions. Here is my La Perla pick which I am so in love with!   

Next, my new favorite shoes. I went with the ever classic black Pigalle Pump. It was actually named after Christian Louboutin's favorite neighborhood's in Paris. This is also one of his most iconic styles; which is exactly why I chose them.  

Lingerie and shoes are two of my most very favorite things in life so this shopping day is Paris was just what the doctor ordered.
