There are countless reasons why I love Kate Spade. Really, I could go on and on. It is a lifestyle product, and one that I relate very much to. This year, in honor of my love for all things Kate Spade, my New Years Resolution was to "Live Colorfully and learn French". I've upped my colorfulness but I better get on the French part, I'll be in France in a few short months.

I wanted to share the pops of red everywhere throughout my life including my favorite look, the classic red lip.

When in doubt wear Red.

Something I'm always seeing with Kate Spade is their love for the color Red. I've taken this right from their documents:

A Love Letter To Red: we adore you as a full skirt with a cotton tee and heels. We think of you often-during the week as a shift withal stack of gold bangles or a polka dot umbrella on a rainy day.

The Perfectly Placed Bow

Here is the outfit I'm starting my week in. This dress is great because it's lightweight and has just the right amount of character. It's amazing what a little bow can bring to the table.

Back again are the Gladiator heels! Get them in brown and black and you've got shoes to go with any Spring/Summer outfit.

Don't think I've forgotten about "Mani Monday". This season try a hue in the Orange family. Today, I'm testing out a peachy shade called "Hazard" by Sinful Colors. I love their shades because they are so vibrant.

Easy Gourmet

Don Draper from Mad Men said "Keep it simple but significant." I feel like that could apply a lot to life but I'll tell you, it really goes with this recipe:

Seared Scallops with Bacon, Tomato, and Avocado Puree

It's a very interesting Californian dish with different textures and flavers.

The recipe is by Elizabeth Faulkner at :http://www.yummly.com/recipe/external/Seared-Scallops-with-Bacon_-Tomato_-and-Avocado-Puree-Martha-Stewart (I changed mine a little)
