First Work Fits 2026

Hello Friends!

My work outfit’s have become one of your favorites throughout the years and I love getting the chance to share them with you so here we go!

  1. First Day Rosé

I loved the floral details of this bodysuit! Red is one of my favorite colors to wear as you’ll soon see. I originally planned to wear black pants with this but I opted for a favorite striped pant instead. I paired it with red booties and a queen frog detail for good measure. This detail was meant for a handbag but what I love about fashion is that there are no rules and you can do whatever the hell you want!

2. Fur & Sparkles

Not only was this an extremely comfortable fit, it felt elevated. One this you’re going to see this season, fur vests. I’m clearly on board. I liked how the colors of the vest went with the sparkly boots. I really like to mix textures in this way. The leggings are Spanx which I can tell you are absolutely worth the investment.

3. Red Again But Different

The design of this bodysuit was so fun. One thing I always have to keep in mind while working is being in something I am able to move in. These red Express pants are an absolute staple of mine. To me, red is a neutral. It can go with so many things. That’s why my nails are (usually) red. Gold sparkly heels and my new favorite alligator necklace finished this look.

4. My Favorite

When I put this one together I didn’t have high hopes but it ended up being my favorite of the looks. Do I plan to buy this half cape blazer in more colors? Absolutely. I loved the colors and whole vibe of this. I was excited to have zebra heels to match my pants. I decided to add a fun netted sock. This black pearls are also a favorite accessory of mine.

5. Fun & Cozy

I’m a sucker for furs I think you probably know that by now. And green is my favorite color so when I saw this vest I just had to have it. I paired it with this super fun steam punk belt which I planned to wear with a blazer but it just worked with this look. I finished the look with multicolored snakeskin booties which I am in love with. Again, very cozy and easy to move in.

6. Busy!

This was the definitely the busiest day of the week. I shot for six hours without stopping and didn’t have a chance to get a real photo of this fit. But I loved it nonetheless. The back of this blazer has The Kilgore Crest on it which I wish I got a photo of. I guess that just means this is going to get another wear in the near future. I always, always love a stripped pant and paired it with a black beaded top accessory. Silver boots and jewelry finished the look.

7. Sistine Chapel Vibes

One of our fantastic dancers named this look. And I love it! The vibes for this look were delicate and also comfortable. It was a cold day so this furry vest was perfect for keeping me warm while I shot. Gold sling backs finished this fit.

8. Casual & a Smooch

I was feeling like I needed to be cozy on this Friday and this shirt is so soft. Spanx again for the win with the leggings. Having boots to match the smooch was an added bonus.

9. Yes, I Do Own Denim

This was a long day and I hadn’t worn jeans yet. These were too short (as so many things are because of the legs) so I decided to pin them with brooches. Added another fun netted sock with red heels. Had to break out the alligators again because I’m in love. Another comfortable bodysuit for the win.

10. Suited For The Last Day

I do love me a suit. Was it easy to move in? No. I learned that one a little too late. Ha! But I really liked the fabric and design of it. Clearly, I’m in to socks right now and I liked the hint of leopard with the sparkly heels and look of the suit. Gold accessories completed the final outfit.

That’s a wrap on the first job and work outfits of 2026! Thank you all for the love on these fits as I post them on IG (@thefastfashionista) every day I work. It’s so extremely fun for me to get to share my love of fashion with you. Did you have a favorite? Many more jobs to come and many more outfits will be shared.

Love you all!

Cozy & Festive

Happy…Friday? I think that’s what it is…

Well, have you recovered from New Years celebrating or are you ready for more? This cocktail I’m picturing drinking by a cozy fire under a blanket. Not so much new year madness.

I had a little more fun with this cocktail, got out my smoker, and flavored the glasses with maple for a little extra kick. An optional step, of course.

what you do:

Simple! Fill a shaker with ice, add in everything and shake, shake, shake! Then, pour into two, possibly smoked, glasses. I used two big ice orbs because they make me feel fancy. Garnish with fresh rosemary.

Fast tip: If you don’t have a smoker, you can add a little flame to your rosemary until it smokes and safely put it under your flipped glass while you make your cocktail.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the last weekend before we all return to normal life.

Cheers my friends!

“All In” on 2026

Hello, Friends

Happy 2026 and Year of the Horse, All!

Usually, I have a word for the new year but this year I have two All In. I’ve decided to blindly embrace 2026.

Before I get into it, I want to thank every single person who has read this blog in all the years I’ve been typing away, those who have cheered me on, the strangers who have become long time readers, and the ones who say to keep going. So why keep going? A few reasons. One, for a friend who passed that urged me to start a blog in the first place. Second, it’s a hobby I love.

Every December, I like to reevaluate The Fast Fashionista. Which has been my little corner of the internet for almost twelve years. Blogging has changed, content creation has changed, and I have changed. All have been good changes. I’m always feeling very zen after my usual blogging hiatus (where I amerce myself in my kiddo’s birthdays, the holidays, and travel). I’m feeling refreshed and back again and ready to welcome a New Year. Not a new me that’s for sure. Same me, even though I am always aiming to be better no matter what time of the year it may be.

I’m still keeping my three categories of Fashion, Food, and Cocktails…fast. I’m not the blogger who is going to tell you a three year long story before I give you a recipe. No need for that. Who has the time for that anyways? Not I. This, and my Fall Fashion post are the longest ones. But that’s why I like to keep it short and sweet so you can check out something new but also get on with your life. I’m also not the blogger who will monetize. I’ve frequently gotten that question over the years and it’s a simple answer. I don’t want to, and I don’t need to. This space is for me to share my passions and creativity not to make money from you reading that.

This year keeping with my “all in” theme I’m starting the year with my favorite fashion things that are “in”. I love fashion deeply in my life and it’s certainly the most popular third of my blog. January gets extremely busy for us and kicks off “busy season” for our photo biz. But I’m really going to focus on fashion this year and I’m very excited to share it with you. While adding in my two cents with what’s “in” keep in mind, I’ll always say that if it’s a trend you don’t like then please, please skip it. I feel style is a constant evolution and I love that so many of you have been on that ride with me throughout the years.

Now, if you know me even a little then you know how much I love to cook. It’s truly my love language. I want to focus more on making easy, fast, but also beautiful food, in my Perfectly Plated third of The Fast Fashionista. Keeping that in mind I also want to continue to hone my skills and try techniques I’ve never done before and cook with foods I never have. Yes, there may be a few I have yet to dabble with.

“My Martini Moment” is a segment that I’ve had around since the beginning. It’s taken on many different shapes and concepts but is now fast, pretty, and delicious cocktail recipes to share or keep for yourself. Since my early employment days of being a bartender. I fell in love with shaking up a good drink and sharing that experience. Experimenting with new cocktails is something (when I have the time) I love doing.

I love you all and here’s to moving forward with grace and power just like the horse.
