Kicking Off Summer

The official start of Summer is Sunday so I thought it was only appropriate to give you the most epic and delicious lobster roll!

what you do:

  1. Put the cooked lobster and crab in a bowl and set aside

  2. In another bowl mix together mayo, celery, dill, basil, salt and a dash of Old Bay seasoning. Then add in your seafood.

  3. I used my air fryer to toast my buns. Before toasting, spread some mayo on them. Toast to preference.

This recipe is beyond perfect to kick off the summer season! It’s fancy but so very easy. Adding crab to this lobster roll really takes it up a notch.

Happy noshing Friends!

Elegant Edge

Hello, Friends!

It’s been about a while since I’ve had a second to post. Life has been exhaustingly busy! Mothering, photographing, and all the things in between have been keeping my attention as of late. But I’m always happier and more content when I’m getting to create.

Over the years I’ve often be asked to describe my style. At first I struggled with that because I like so many didn’t styles and looks. I did however, come to know my vibe and I consider it “Edgy Glam”. So today I’m giving you three easy ways to add a little edge to your style.

  1. Keyhole tops

I’m a fan of these because it’s not the most common top and its a way to show a little skin while not too much at the same time. Also these amazing shoes are “Jojos”(myjojos on Insta). A fabulous Pittsburgh based shop with absolutely amazing shoes.

2. A little Leather

Leather fabric will always kick up the edge for an outfit. Pairing a leather with a lightweight top is a good way to add some complexity to your look.

3. All about the back

A top like this is great because it has a high neck in the front and open in the back. It adds a little unexpected edge to an outfit.

Thanks for stopping by and happy Tuesday!

Strawberry Citrus Champagne Punch

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend to all the Mama’s out there!

I have the perfect recipe for Mother’s Day brunch or even for patio sipping…

I chose a champagne recipe for today because not only is it my fabulous Godmom/Aunt Mia’s birthday it is also our sweet Husky Perla Blue’s 6th birthday! It surly is a day to celebrate in our house, so bubbly it is!

what you do:

Make a simple syrup with the water and sugar (or buy your own for a quicker recipe). Add everything to a pitcher but only add champagne when you are ready to serve.

Thank you for tuning in during Cocktail Week on Fast Fashionista! I had a blast making all of these drinks to share with you.
