Avocados For Days

Hands down I could eat an avocado for every meal. Absolutely love them! A few nights ago a friend of mine and I went out for margaritas and a little girl talk. I wasn't planning on getting anything to eat but then of course started looking at the menu. As much as I wanted something cheesy and delicious I knew I'd regret it so I went with a guacamole salad. It was perfect! Not to mention, healthy and just the right amount of filling. So perfect in fact, that I recreated it last Friday night.

Here is my easy guacamole recipe:

- 2 avocados

- 1 small red onion

- 1 minced garlic clove

- 1 ripe tomato  

- a dash of lime juice

(mash it all with a fork) 

 

It's quick, easy, and healthy to boot! 

 

Lovely Layers

Sometimes all it takes to add some style to a look is to layer it. At this point in the season I am always sick of wearing the same things. I start to get a little more creative in an effort to pull myself out of the winter blues.

A button down shirt is going to be something you will need in your closet this Spring. Denim is great because you can do so many different things and also easy to layer.

It's always nice to add a little more "pop" to an outfit with a belt. Even if it's only slightly visible. I'm all about extra pops!
