Hey, All! I’m back!…for now.
I know in past posts I’ve spoke of being busy but I think I need a new word for that at this point in my life. Because damn. I’ve had zero time for anything as of late. However I really miss my little creative outlet known as The Fast Fashionista. So, I’m going to make it my best effort to stay a little consistent in the Fast Fash space.
When it comes to a “Closet Icon” there could, of course, be more than one. But, today I’m going to share a very special Closet Icon.
First, let’s talk about what exactly a Closet Icon is. This is something that is either special, stands out, an investment piece, or maybe something that has a great story.
Today, I’m sharing my favorite hat. I came across Flea Style in Kentucky. I found this gem in the hotel we stayed at during a Valentine’s Day trip this past year. Also, I’ve said this million times but “hat” was my first word after all…
In my humble opinion I think that everyone needs a custom hat so if you ever find yourself at a hat bar all I can say is DO IT. I can’t say enough about Kelly and the staff at Flea Style. They were absolutely amazing. The entire experience was incredible. They give you a tray and you get to pick a blank hat, and walk around this insanely chic shop and collect all the things that speaks to you. Let me tell you right now I wasn’t leaving without some green, gold, pearls, and of course a feather.
As I said, all the things that a Closet Icon is, this hat has all of those qualities. It’s truly a piece I’ll treasure for many years to come.
Thank you for stopping by and don’t forget, thank your local Hatter! If only my town had one….
