It's National Garlic Month!!

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely love garlic and am constantly adding it to pretty much everything I eat. Having said that I'm all about National Garlic Day, which was April 19th. So in honor of this amazing member of the onion family, I give you 5 facts about garlic...

Garlic can help prevent infections or colds. It can also slow down aging and even prevent colon or breast cancer.

It's typically considered a "super food".

Garlic contains only 4 calories per clove, and has the ability to break down fat, increasing metabolism.

China produces around 66% of the World’s garlic.

Garlic and onions are toxic to cats and dogs. So keep Fido away from the kitchen floor when cooking with it (also onions and grapes).

Now go cook something extra garlicky!

My Easter Attire

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful Easter Sunday!

When putting together an outfit I always start with a color palette. I went with whites, greens, and a floral print.

A major trend this Spring is the crocheted look.  Be it a dress or a skirt, this look is here to stay for the season.

This sage kimono was the perfect substitution to the ever typical cardigan. It was great for morning when it was still a little chilly. Also I'm thinking it is going to be a staple garment.

I knew this outfit needed just an extra touch so, pink pearls it was. And I mean it wouldn't be Easter Sunday without a hat right?

Last but not least our yearly Easter Photo!
