First Week of October Fits

Hello, All!

Life sure has been chaos lately, but, I’ve rounded up a few outfits from last week. Getting dressed is the best time of the morning for me. Let’s hope that Fall starts acting like Fall so we can really get into the fun cool weather vibes.

  1. Sunday Vibes

If you have a day you aren’t particularly excited about may I advise a power suit. Changes your whole outlook. Looking for a great one? I love Express for a great suit. Gold accents made the red really pop.

2. Apparently I’m in a suit mood?

I guess I was just really feeling suits this week. I love the colors and the print of this one. Also for all of the things I had to do on this day it was also very comfortable as it is oversized. Good shoes are always a major goto of mine. These platforms are so fun!

3. Damn, Do I Love a Suit.

It was a hot day but again I was continuing with my love of a suit. There are so many different twists that you make to a suit. The only thing I love more than a suit is adding a hat and good accessories.

4. Look! Not a Suit!

This was a pretty simple look. But, I was very excited to whip out the leather. Get yourself some burgundy faux leather for the fall and winter. It goes with so much.

5. Layers

It was a verrrrry cold morning so it was time for a sweater. I layered it with a lace dress, leopard boots (big fall trend), and a red belt for a little pop of color. Accessories were very simple.

6. Work Mode

We shot some fabulous Nutcracker dancers all day long. If you follow me on insta then you’ve seen this look. Currently I’m obsessed with long skirt looks, and yes…it’s another form of a suit. Can’t help it guys. Paired with a hat of course and an Obi belt.

That’s all I have! Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous Tuesday!

What’s In The Cauldron?

Hello, Friends!

Happy October!

It’s absolutely no secret how much I looooove soup! I make it all year however, when Fall hits I’m constantly stirring something up. For the month of October, I’m going to share what I have in my cauldron and share a delicious soup recipe with you. Have you ever heard of Italian Penicillin Soup? You don’t have to be under the weather to enjoy it but, if you happen to be, what’s better than soup? This recipe is very old and has been passed down throughout generations. It will feed your body but also your soul. Also, the aromas of this recipe will fill your kitchen with magic.

Italian Penicillin Soup

  1. Heat oil in your soup pot and add in the holy trinity of soups. Onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until the onions are translucent. Around five minutes or so. Then, stir in the garlic but do not let it brown.

  2. Add in your broth and chicken. Add in your spices and bring to a boil. Then, bring it to a simmer. Then, just enjoy the smells, let the chicken cook, maybe open some bubbly, and wait an hour. Give it a stir every now and then.

  3. Remove the chicken and shred with two forks. Add a little flakey salt to the soup and toss the chicken back in.

  4. Bring the soup back to a boil and add your pasta. I used ditalini because I love it for a soup. Cook until al dente. One great thing is that the pasta will thicken the soup some.

  5. Finish with freshly grated Parmesan and maybe add some crunchy bread.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulously spooky and flavorful October!

Fall Fashion 2025

Hello, beauties!

It’s time for my yearly (a little late) Fall Fashion Post. Let me preface this by saying, as I always do, if you don’t like a trend…do not wear it! You have to always feel like you. So, if it doesn’t speak to you just skip it. Having said that, let’s get into my favorite fall trends this season…

  1. Burgandy Shoes

Burgandy is always a popular color for the cooler months. This season, it’s about burgundy is all about the feet. Personally, I love navy and this deep color together.

2. A Cape

Yes, I’ve had this on my list many times before but anytime its “in”, I’ll put it here. For me, a cape is always in. But, anyway, it’s such an easy way to extremely elevate an outfit as a third piece. It’s giving Vampire Queen, no?

3. A Stament Belted Blazer

Blazers are always no fail but, add a statement belt, and it adds so much style to a simple blazer vibe. It’s an easy look to put together if you happen to be in a hurry. Also, look for my upcoming post about how to style this look different ways.

4. Wearable Wallpaper

You may have seen me in both of these pieces before, but never together. This season don’t be afraid to make a bold move in a head-to-toe look. Don’t be afraid of bold prints but, if you’re needing something more toned down you could also opt for a print like polka dots.

5. Leopard (duh)

  1. Leopard has been “in” for a long time now and isn’t going anywhere. For me? Never. I may just request to be buried in leopard print. This one is of more of an example of a cool fall look that screams cool girl goes on a lunch date. It mixes casual and highbrow while still maintaining style. Chilly? Add a chic sweater.

6. Monochrome

No matter what color that you choose, a head to toe look in one color is so powerful. I went for deep green because of course I did. Green is my favorite!

7. Soft Pink

I’m a typical Gemini, just as comfortable in all black or the soft pink that seems to be just everywhere at the moment. If you don’t already add a pale pink pant to your wardrobe. It’s a very versatile piece.

That’s all for me on this Monday! Thank you for letting me share my love of fashion with you and for stopping by.

May your coffee be strong, and your makeup be perfect today!
